Our take on sale

Nothing says summer like sale - isn’t that sad? Instead of spending time outside, we’re crammed inside malls or filling up online shopping carts. In our opinion, there is a better and a worse way to approach sale season - for us as a fashion brand and for you as a customer.

Firstly, fashion companies (or any company for that matter) are dependent on a certain level of income to maintain business. That includes us. We need to sell clothes to make clothes. However, we made the early choice to use materials with a lower environmental impact than the industry norm, resulting in clothes only made with organic, natural or recycled fibers.

Secondly, all fashion brands have a stock, some bigger, some smaller. This is caused by several different factors, many which are out of our control, such as inflations and delays. But instead of throwing or destroying these garments we put them in our outlet, doing our utmost to ensure that they end up in someone’s home, and not in a trash bin.

Thirdly, our outlet also enables more people to discover our brand. Clothes made more sustainably, are more expensive. This has to do with both the quality of the materials and the production itself. We only source certified fibers which are more expensive, meaning that we buy the products for a higher price. We also produce smaller quantities which cost more. Additionally, we only work with suppliers that share the same values as us, and that are certified by reliable and legit standards, ensuring fair working conditions for all parties. Being aware of this price gap, our outlet is also a way for people wanting to buy clothes made with organic, natural or recycled fibers but are unable to because of high prices, to shop from us.

With that being said, we will direct attention to our outlet, mainly to address its existence and to explain why our sale is better than any other sale. We won't urge you to shop, but we will encourage you to choose clothes made of low-impact materials in terms of environmental impact and resource use, when you do decide to buy something.
